There are 9 different ways to place roulette bets. Each bet covers a different set of numbers and has a different distribution, as shown in the "Winnings Table" section.

Straight Up
A chip can be wagered on any individual number, including zero (0) and double-zero (00). The chip is placed directly on the individual number.

Split Bet
A chip can be wagered on two adjacent numbers, by placing the chip on the line dividing the two numbers. A chip can also be placed on the line dividing zero (0) and double-zero (00).

Street Bet
Street bets cover three numbers. Place the chip on the outer right boundary line of the roulette table, next to the corresponding row of three numbers.

Corner Bet
Corner bets cover four numbers. Place the chip in the cross where the four numbers intersect.

Five Bet
This bet covers the following numbers: 0, 00, 1, 2 and 3. Place the chip on the outer right boundary line of the roulette table, between 00 and 3.

Line Bet
A line bet covers two street bets (i.e. the six different numbers in two rows of three numbers. For example: 4,5,6 + 7,8,9). Place the chip on outer right boundary line of the roulette table, where it is intersected by the line dividing the two rows.

Column Bet
On the short side of the roulette table are three boxes marked "2 to 1." By placing your chip in one of these boxes, you mark all twelve numbers above it (0 and 00 excluded).

Dozen Bet
You can bet on a group of twelve numbers by placing your chip in one of the three boxes marked "1st 12," "2nd 12," or "3rd 12."

Red/Black, Even/Odd, Low/High Bets
A bet placed in one of the boxes on the left, long side of the table covers half of the roulette table numbers (excluding zero and double zero). Each box covers 18 numbers.

The minimum betting limit within the numbered fields on the roulette table is a total of $5. (You can use $1 chips and make bets on several different numbers, as long as the total bet is at least $5). There is also a $5 limit on wagers placed within the outer non-number fields of the roulette table (e.g. Dozen, Red, Odd, etc.). The total bet for any one spin may not exceed $500.
